With food, fuel and tobacco prices going up in recent months, the Head of the Civil Service Consumer Corporation (CSCC), Salman Al Qudah, decided to head in the other direction.
The CSCC is offering discounts between 7% and 35% on 70 foodstuffs, announced Al Qudah.
He said that offers and discounts are part of the CSCC’s commitment to take some weight off citizens’ shoulders, especially those with medium to low-income salaries.
Some of the products on sale include frozen chicken, yoghurt, vegetable oil, boxed milk, chicken slices, canned sardines, jam, honey syrup, fizzy drinks, instant coffee, tomato puree, toothpaste and washing up liquid.
New products that can purchased at the CSCC include gas and kerosene heaters, high-quality blankets and dishwasher tablets.
