The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates issued a statement strongly condemning the ongoing systematic targeting of civilians and aid facilities in Gaza by Israeli Occupation forces. The latest attack near the International Committee of the Red Cross office resulted in multiple casualties and damage to the organization’s headquarters.

Spokesperson for the ministry, Ambassador Sufian Qudah, expressed Jordan’s condemnation and absolute rejection of the continued violations of international law and humanitarian law by the Israeli Occupation. He emphasized the grave breach of the 1949 Geneva Convention, highlighting the endangerment of civilians and aid workers, which reflects a lack of accountability and impunity.

Ambassador Qudah stressed the urgent need for the international community and organizations, especially the UN Security Council, to act promptly and effectively to ensure the protection of civilians and aid facilities. He called for enabling these organizations to perform their humanitarian duties without obstacles and ensuring their safety from any targeting.
