US official: Eisenhower deployment unrelated to recent escalation between Israeli Occupation and Hezbollah

CNN reported that American officials reassured their "Israeli" counterparts regarding the ongoing confrontations between the Israeli Occupation forces and Hezbollah. The officials affirmed that the Biden administration would support the Israeli Occupation if a war with Hezbollah broke out.

The aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69) was preparing to leave the Red Sea and head to the Mediterranean Sea, with its accompanying destroyers remaining in the US Fifth Fleet. This strategic move was part of the broader US military maneuvers in the region, with the carrier Roosevelt set to replace it, according to the US Naval Institute.

An American official stated that the Eisenhower and its accompanying cruisers would transition to the Mediterranean, while the destroyers would stay with the Fifth Fleet. Aviation observers noted that a C-2A Greyhound aircraft separated from the Fifth Fleet base in Bahrain and headed to the Mediterranean.

The Eisenhower's departure coincided with rising tensions between Hezbollah and the Israeli Occupation in recent days. However, an American official emphasized that the carrier's move was unrelated to the latest escalation between the Israeli Occupation and Hezbollah.
