An official source confirmed that the Jordanian pilgrims within the official mission of the Ministry Awqaf and Islamic Affairs are in good condition.

They are under the supervision of the mission's members and teams, receiving health supervision and careful care to ensure they can perform Hajj and return home safely.

The source mentioned that one member of the official mission is currently missing, and efforts to locate them are ongoing.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates is also monitoring the situation of Jordanian pilgrims who arrived for Hajj outside the official campaign organized by the Jordanian Ministry of Awqaf or other approved routes by Saudi Arabia.

Jordan's Foreign Ministry, through its consulate in Jeddah, is investigating the circumstances of deaths, injuries, and missing Jordanians who traveled outside the official Hajj delegation due to the severe heatwave. They are in direct contact with the families of these pilgrims to update them on the situation.

A team from the ministry is stationed in Mecca to coordinate with Saudi authorities, who are providing necessary support and assistance.

Investigations are underway to determine how these citizens left Jordan and whether there were any cases of deception involved. If proven, these cases will be handled according to the law.

The source added that the number of Jordanian pilgrims is 8,000, including 4,500 from Palestinian territories occupied in 1948, and the accompanying Jordanian delegation consists of about 500 members.
