Lebanese political and armed faction Hezbollah, has launched a 30-rocket salvo from south Lebanon towards “Israeli” settlements in the Upper Galilee and Galilee panhandle.

Rocket alarm sirens were activated in Safed along with 13 other settlements, with Hebrew media reporting several explosions in the area.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) confirmed that a barrage of 35 rockets were fired from Lebanon towards Ein Zeitim near Safed a short while ago - it said in a statement.

It claimed the attack resulted in no injuries and that in response, the IOF shelled the rocket launch sites.

Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the attack, saying that “tens of Katyusha rockets were fire targeting the headquarters of the 3rd Infantry Brigade of the 91st Division at the Ein Zeitim base."
