The spokesperson for the Highway Patrol Department has reported two separate accidents resulting in six injuries over the past 24 hours.

In the daily traffic update on AmenFM, it was disclosed that one accident occurred yesterday at 3:30 pm on Monday along the Karak-Amman Road, involving a vehicle colliding with an electricity pole, causing four injuries. The injured individuals were promptly attended to by civil defense personnel and transported to Prince Ali Military Hospital, where they are reported to be in stable condition.

In another incident on the Mafraq-Zarqa Highway, opposite the Hashemite University towards Zarqa, a vehicle also hit a pole, resulting in two injuries. These individuals were treated by civil defense personnel at Zarqa Governmental Hospital and discharged after receiving necessary medical care.

The spokesperson emphasized the importance of avoiding reckless driving behaviors such as speeding and sudden lane changes, which were cited as the causes of the two accidents. The Central Traffic Department reiterated the necessity for citizens to adhere to traffic regulations, including avoiding double parking, distractions, and other serious violations, to prevent such accidents.
