US National Security Council representative John Kirby stated that Washington's involvement in countering the Iranian assaults targeting Israeli Occupation territory aimed to prevent the situation from escalating into a regional conflict.

Kirby deferred to Tel Aviv to determine their response to these attacks, stating, "They decide whether and how they will respond."

Additionally, a senior White House official affirmed on Sunday that Washington seeks to avoid exacerbating the crisis in the Middle East, as reported by AFP.

Earlier, Iranian Chief of Staff Mohammad Bagheri declared that Tehran's attack on Tel Aviv on Saturday had concluded, expressing Iran's reluctance to prolong it but asserting readiness for a robust response if Tel Aviv threatens its interests.

This followed Iran's anticipated assault several days earlier, involving numerous drones and missiles launched towards the occupied territory on Saturday night.

Israeli Occupation army spokesperson Daniel Hagari reiterated the preparedness of the entity's armed forces to address anticipated Iranian threats within hours.
