Jordan dispatched a new aid convoy to Gaza in coordination and cooperation between the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army and the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO). The convoy is made up of 105 trucks, and is considered the largest-ever since the start of the “Israeli” aggression against Gaza.

Dr. Hussein Shibli, the Secretary-General of the JHCO, stated that the convoy includes essential food items such as rice and flour. The preparations have been made, and the convoy is on its way to Gaza to arrive before the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

Shibli added that this convoy will be followed by several others as part of a plan to increase the number of land convoys directed to Gaza. The goal is to double the aid sent through the sustainable relief bridge to deliver and distribute aid through the Kerem Shalom Border Crossing to as many people as possible in Gaza.

This initiative comes in response to the urgent need to support the people in Gaza who are facing difficult humanitarian conditions. Jordan, in accordance with royal directives, is keen to play a leading role in facilitating the delivery of aid to Gaza through coordination with international agencies and humanitarian organizations.

In addition, the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) stated that this convoy is part of Jordan's commitment to deliver more aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip to help them overcome the difficult situations during the holy month of Ramadan and before Eid. This reflects the spirit of cooperation and solidarity between the two brotherly peoples.

The Jordanian Armed Forces have been continuously sending humanitarian and medical aid through an airlift, with relief flights departing from Marka Airport to El Arish International Airport or through air drops to Gaza, in addition to land convoys.
