The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) issued a statement today condemning the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) crimes after raiding Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City for the past two weeks and besieging it.

The statement describes “Israel” as a “rogue fascist entity which deviates from the values of civilization and humanity.”

It also held the Biden administration and President Joe Biden personally fully responsible for the crimes, massacres, and systematic destruction of civilian life in Gaza.

Gaza’s Health Ministry said earlier that the “scale of the destruction inside the [Al-Shifa] complex and the buildings around it is very large” after heavy “Israeli” airstrikes and tank fire targeted the medical facility.

"Dozens of bodies, some of them decomposed, have been recovered from in and around the
Al-Shifa medical complex," the ministry said, adding that the hospital was now "completely
out of service".

Over 20 of the bodies recovered have been crushed by the retreating IOF vehicles.

Hamas urged international judicial bodies, especially the International Criminal Court (ICC) to intervene and “initiate concrete procedures to investigate the crimes and atrocities that occurred in Al-Shifa Medical Complex and its surroundings, as well as all the crimes that have taken place over the past six months.”

Hamas reiterated that these “Nazi crimes will not weaken the resolve of our steadfast people and their brave resistance, which confronts the barbaric aggression with courage and sacrifice.”

“The extent of destruction and killing perpetrated by the enemy does not signify any victory over the will of our people, who cling to their land and identity. This barbaric assault on Gaza reaffirms once again the enemy's aim to push our people to leave their land as part of its schemes to liquidate the Palestinian cause”
