CENTCOM destroys four Houthi drones in Red Sea

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced Thursday that its US forces “successfully engaged and destroyed four long-range unmanned aerial systems (UAS) launched by Houthis.”

According to CENTCOM, these Houthis UAS were aimed at a US Warship and US forces subsequently “engaged in self-defense” over the Red Sea between 2:00 and 2:20 AM (Sana’a times) on March 27, Wednesday.

No injury or damage was reported to US or coalition ships, the statement added.
