The United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived Friday in Tel Aviv for talks with the “Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to Agence France-Presse.

Hebrew media reported that dozens of protesters blocked the road leading to Benjamin Netanyahu's residence in the town of Caesarea during Blinken's visit.

Blinken arrived from Cairo for the last stop of his latest Middle Eastern tour and is expected to speak to the “Israeli” government on the topic of humanitarian aid distribution in addition to urging their forces not to launch a ground offensive in the southern border city of Rafah, where around two million displaced Palestinians are taking shelter.

During his visit to Cairo yesterday, Thursday, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken emphasized that any major military operation in the Gaza Strip would be a “mistake.”
