Renowned Jordanian Military analyst Fayez Al-Duweiri has been absent from Al Jazeera’s broadcast for several weeks due to suffering a "stroke" alongside “accumulated fatigue” - as he announced on his Instagram account.

The retired Jordanian brigadier general analyzed on a daily basis the skirmishes between Palestinian resistance and the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in the Gaza Strip for nearly six months.

Al-Duweiri announced to his followers that he had suffered a Myocardial infarction after doctors discovered 100% blockage in his coronary artery, after which he underwent a "triple bypass surgery."

Al-Duweiri also pointed out in his audio recording to American pressures to remove him from Al Jazeera due to his praise for the achievements of the Palestinian resistance.

According to Al-Duweiri, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken told the Qatari Foreign Minister to “shut him up.”

Regarding his return, Al-Duweiri left the door open to his date of return. "I leave with a badge of honor that I have always dreamed of (which is) your love... (and I am) committed to a long break for a few weeks during which I will not appear on the screen."
