The French embassy in Jordan said that the effort, conducted on Feb. 26, 2024, involved a French Air Force C130 and three Royal Jordanian Air Force aircraft dropping 2.2 tons of food supplies using specialized containers equipped with parachute systems.
The operation builds upon a previous joint airdrop carried out on Jan. 4, 2024, showcasing the ongoing partnership between the two countries in supporting Jordan's crucial role as a regional humanitarian hub for Gaza aid delivery.
