The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) announced Monday that five of its soldiers were seriously injured in the ongoing battles in the Gaza Strip.

One of the injured soldiers is in Paratroopers Brigade Reconnaissance Unit, one is the Combat Engineering Corps’ Yahalom unit, and the other is a Paratrooper officer - all wounded in South Gaza.

Two soldiers are from the Combat Engineering Corps’ 601st Battalion and were injured in northern Gaza battles.

The IOF added that they were transported to a hospital to undergo treatment.
