The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip revealed the extent of material destruction and loss of life perpetrated by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) since the start of the aggression on Oct. 7, 2023.

According to the released numbers, the IOF carried out 2,512 massacres, resulting in the deaths of 28,858 martyrs, including 12,660 children and 8,570 women, with 7,000 missing, 70% of whom are children and women.

The Gaza media office added in a statement on Saturday that 340 medical personnel were martyred, along with 46 martyrs from civil defense, and 130 martyrs among journalists.

The number of injuries has risen to 68,677 since Oct. 7, including 11,000 wounded in need of travel for treatment, and 10,000 cancer patients facing the risk of death.

The Gaza government's office pointed to the displacement of nearly 2 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, with 700,000 Palestinians infected with infectious diseases due to displacement, and 8,000 cases of hepatitis A detected.

Nearly 350,000 chronic patients are at risk due to the lack of medication entering the sector, and 60 pregnant women are at risk due to the lack of healthcare.

The Gaza government media office documented 99 cases of arrest targeting healthcare personnel and 10 cases of arrest among journalists whose names are known.

With the occupation's continued targeting of civilians, Gaza's government media said that the occupation destroyed 70,000 housing units completely, and 290,000 housing units partially, in addition to the destruction of 142 government buildings, 100 schools and universities completely, and damaging 295 schools and universities partially.

The IOF destroyed 184 mosques completely, and 266 mosques were partially destroyed, along with the destruction of three churches.
