The World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed the evacuation of 1,243 medical cases, including a number of wounded individuals, from Gaza through the Rafah crossing.

WHO added that 1,025 companions of the wounded have been evacuated, where the wounded are receiving treatment in Egypt and other countries.

Earlier, the World Health Organization called on donor entities not to suspend financial support for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA).

Director-General of WHO, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, stated on his X account, "We appeal to donors not to suspend their funding for UNRWA at this critical moment."

WHO further emphasized that cutting off funding will only harm the people of Gaza, who are suffering greatly and urgently need support.
