In accordance with royal directives, the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army, in coordination with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), dispatched a medical aid plane on Monday to the Gaza Strip.

“The IL-76 aircraft carries 45 tons of medicines and medical supplies to provide assistance and support to the people in the Gaza Strip,” a statement by the Armed Forces said, “alleviating their difficult conditions due to the ongoing Israeli war on the region.”

This plane's dispatch is part of the efforts made by the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army to stand by the people in the Gaza Strip, support the health sector in the Strip, and provide the necessary medical supplies for delivering medical services to patients, the wounded, and the affected.

The plane departed this morning to the Arab Republic of Egypt/ Al-Arish Airport, as a prelude to sending the aid by land to Gaza through the Rafah Crossing.
