Israeli Occupation Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich, stated that Tel Aviv should "establish settlements in the Gaza Strip to ensure a permanent Jewish presence."

Struggle for existence

He expressed the Israeli Occupation government's fears of the resistance in Gaza, highlighting that it is necessary for Tel Aviv to establish settlements in Gaza “so that we are not eliminated.”

Smotrich added in a television interview, saying: “Look at how Jenin and Tulkarm have turned into terrorism hubs? It is because there are no settlements.”

Israeli Occupation aggression on its 94th day

The Israeli Occupation aggression continues on its 94th day in the Gaza Strip, with the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) shelling northern, central, and southern areas of the Gaza Strip. This has led to an increase in the number of Palestinian martyrs to 22,835 and the wounded to 58,416 since the beginning of the aggression, according to a provisional tally.

The military wing of Hamas, the Al-Qassam Brigades, initiated Operation Aqsa Typhoon on October 7 in response to Israeli Occupation violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.

In response, the Israeli Occupation launched a military operation named 'Iron Sword' against the Gaza Strip, carrying out a series of intense airstrikes on various areas in the Strip. This resulted in hundreds of martyrs, thousands of injuries, and the destruction of numerous residential buildings, towers, institutions, and infrastructure.
