On Tuesday evening, an explosion occurred in the southern suburb of Beirut, Lebanon, with preliminary information suggesting it was caused by a drone attack.

The Lebanese Civil Defense responded to the incident, reporting three fatalities and 11 injuries. Hebrew media suggested that the Air Force targeted a Hamas official in Beirut.

The explosion reportedly hit a Hamas office in Mushrifiyah.

Initially, Hebrew media announced the assassination before Hamas later confirmed that Saleh Al-Arouri was killed in Beirut.
