The Israeli Occupation Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, has instructed authorities to detain what he claims are prisoners from the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas in an underground prison that has not been used for years, according to Anadolu Agency.

Ben Gvir stated in a Telegram post that after years of disuse, the prison commissioner has been directed to reopen the underground wing for detainees from the Qassam Brigades.

Earlier, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor documented the arrest of journalists, doctors, academics and elderly individuals from displacement centers in northern Gaza after their identification.

The observatory added that Tel Aviv is arresting dozens of Palestinian civilians from UNRWA schools in northern Gaza.

The observatory pointed out that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) are burning homes in Beit Lahia and killing civilians who are raising white flags.

Earlier, Hebrew media published photos claiming to show Palestinians in Gaza arrested by the IOF soldiers, forced to undress and subjected to abuse.

The photos depicted IOF transporting dozens of Palestinians, including the elderly, in military vehicles to an unknown location.
