The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) announced Wednesday the death of an officer in the Armored Corps in the ongoing battles in the Gaza Strip, and the death of an officer in a military vehicle overturn accident south of Tel Aviv.

The IOF stated on its official page that Major Yoav Gior Hirschberg, from Filf Farm, the commander of the Missing Persons Search Unit in the Fire Brigade (Unit 98), was killed in a military traffic accident in southern Tel Aviv at the age of 52.

It also announced the death of Colonel (Reserve) Yonatan Malka, an armored fighter in the 82nd Battalion formed "Sar Migolan" (7), at the age of 23.

The death toll among the IOF has risen to 410 officers and soldiers since Oct. 7.
