The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) sent another relief plane to the people in Gaza Thursday, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, the Jordan Armed Forces/Air Force, and in coordination with Egypt to deliver aid through the Rafah crossing.

The plane is loaded with relief and medical supplies according to our list of priorities, which will be handed over to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) for distribution to hospitals in the Strip.

The Secretary-General of the JHCO, Hussein Al-Shibli, said: "Continuing to implement the Royal directives to provide assistance and extend a helping hand to the people in the Gaza Strip, JHCO has mobilized all its efforts and partnerships in coordination with various official government and diplomatic entities to send a new plane to the Gaza Strip today."

He continued saying "It will be delivered through the Rafah crossing with the cooperation of the Egyptian Red Crescent for entry into the Strip. We appreciate all the popular, institutional, and private campaigns to support the people in Gaza by providing cash and in-kind donations, each according to their expertise, reflecting the true, sincere and supportive Jordanian stance towards the central and pivotal Palestinian cause."

It is worth mentioning that the organization has sent two planes loaded with medicines and medical supplies that were delivered to the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing, in coordination with the Egyptian Red Crescent. They were handed over to the UNRWA and distributed to hospitals there.
