Several international airlines have announced the cancellation of their flights to Tel Aviv following the ongoing Operation Aqsa Typhoon carried out by Palestinian resistance groups in the Gaza border settlements since Saturday morning.

The number of airlines deciding to cancel their flights totals 13, primarily from various European countries.

In response, the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange experienced a 5.7 percent drop in the first hour of trading after just one day since the launch of the operation.

According to the exchange's website, the main index fell by 5.7 percent or 124 points to 2040 points, amidst widespread selling.

Investors within the occupied Palestinian territories are closely watching the currency exchange rates against the shekel, with expectations of further weakening.

Traders on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange have been facing reduced trading activity due to the "Judicial Reform" plan and the preceding stages that were approved by the Knesset.

Sunday evening, Al-Qassam Brigades targeted Ben Gurion Airport with a rocket barrage in response to the continuous crimes and targeting of civilian homes.
