Abdul Qadir Zakdah, 25, was fatally shot by Palestinian security forces in Tulkarm camp, located in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Violent clashes erupted between Palestinian protesters and the authorities during their efforts to suppress demonstrations against the removal of resistance barriers set up to counter the incursions of Israeli Occupation forces into the Tulkarm camp. This information was reported by the Palestinian Information Center.

Zakdah's uncle, as reported by Palestinian media outlets, affirmed that the security forces intentionally and directly fired upon the Palestinians who were participating in the event.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Hamas characterized the incident as a grave crime against the security and societal harmony within the West Bank. The statement highlighted the concerning decline in the behavior of the prevailing power faction.

Hamas expressed strong condemnation for what it described as the "crime committed by the security authorities in Tulkarm."
