Two four-year-old children were hospitalized after getting stung by a scorpion while playing in Ramtha, as reported by Roya's correspondent.

The children were immediately rushed to the hospital, where their overall condition was reported as stable following the administration of anti-venom treatment.

Expert Ibrahim Bani Yassin told Roya that explaining that the "Leuris Hyperius" scorpion holds the distinction of being the most perilous scorpion species within Jordan.

It's worth mentioning that this specific type of scorpion was responsible for the tragic passing of a child in Tafilah last month.

The scorpion's venom triggered a severe deceleration of her heartbeat and a subsequent drop in oxygen levels.
