The Daesh terrorist group announced the killing of its fourth leader Abu al-Hussein al-Qurashi, in clashes with Hayat Tahrir al-Sham in Idlib in northwestern Syria.

According to what was reported by AFP, the spokesperson for Daesh Abu Hudhaifa al-Ansari said: "The Sheikh was killed after a direct confrontation with the Apostasy and Employment Authority (...) in one of the towns of Idlib's countryside after they tried to capture him while he was on the job."

He confirmed that Ansari "died of his wounds" following the confrontation.  

Notably, the terrorist group did not specify when its leader was killed and in which particular area of Idlib.
