A young man was arrested and charged with attempted murder by the Public Prosecutor of North Amman for running over a traffic officer.

The incident occurred less than a week ago when the perpetrator, who was under the influence of drugs, deliberately ran over the officer who had asked him to stop his vehicle.

The injured officer was rushed to the intensive care unit at King Hussein Medical Center, and his condition is reported to be critical.
