Jordan is expected to be affected by a severe heatwave on Wednesday, according to Arabia Weather.

This heatwave will lead to a significant surge in temperatures on Wednesday and a further increase on Thursday, surpassing the usual rates for this time of the year by more than five degrees Celsius.

Many villages and cities across Jordan, including the capital Amman, are anticipated to experience temperatures exceeding 35 degrees Celsius, while areas such as the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba may reach around 45 degrees Celsius.

To ensure safety during these extreme conditions, it is strongly advised to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, maintain proper hydration, and exercise caution regarding flammable materials in vehicles.

Additionally, children should not be left unattended in vehicles, even for short periods.
