A man in his fifties stabbed himself in the abdomen area with a sharp object in Zarqa, according to a security source Monday.

The source told Roya that the man suffers from 'psychological disorders,' noting that his daughter was wounded as she tried to pull the sharp tool out of his hand.

He said they were both immediately transferred to the Zarqa Governmental Hospital, noting that the father was in critical health condition.

Notably, investigations are underway.
