The National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) refuted claims on Monday that the code (*#21#) can determine whether a phone in Jordan has been hacked or not.

According to the center, this particular code is unrelated to phone hacking.

The NCSC further clarified that the code is internationally recognized and primarily utilized by telecom companies for call transfers, as well as within call center services.
