The 32nd session of the Arab Summit commenced in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday, aiming to address various regional issues and internal crises. The leaders of participating countries are focused on finding resolutions, starting with the Palestinian cause, followed by the Syrian conflict, the Sudanese crisis, and other pressing matters such as Yemen, Libya, and Lebanon.

-King Abdullah II delivers speech-

Friday, His Majesty King Abdullah II stressed that there can be no hesitation in capitalizing on the opportunities before Arab countries, in service of the interests of their peoples.

-Assad speaks at Arab Summit- 

In his speech at the 32nd regular session of the Arab Summit in Jeddah, Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad said 'We are facing a historic opportunity to rearrange our situation.'

During the summit, the Algerian Prime Minister expressed support for Syria's reinstatement of its seat in the Arab League. He reaffirmed solidarity with the Palestinian people and urged the UN Security Council to intervene and halt the Israeli Occupation's attacks. Additionally, he emphasized the need to counteract the systematic settlement in Palestinian territories and urged the international community to take swift action.

Moreover, the Prime Minister called for a prompt resolution to the Sudanese crisis, emphasizing the importance of resolving it without external interference. He also acknowledged and appreciated the collective efforts made towards finding a solution to the Yemeni crisis.

In turn, the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, expressed his hope for the success of the current summit in uniting efforts in the interest of the Arabs, and resolving the Syrian refugee crisis, as well as the agreement signed between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

Aboul Gheit added, "We seek to stop the bloodshed in brotherly Sudan," and he welcomed the presence of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
