A pickup driver was apprehended by security services on Thursday for counterfeiting his vehicle's license plate, duplicating the number of another pickup truck.

According to Roya's correspondent, the owner of the authentic license plate spotted the identical plate number on another vehicle in the Downtown area of Amman. He immediately alerted the relevant authorities.

The driver was instructed to remove the fraudulent license plate at once.

Investigations into the incident have been launched.
