Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) sealed the doors of the Al-Qibli prayer hall and evacuated those present inside on Thursday morning, as a prelude to the planned intrusion of settlers into the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Flag March.

Roya’s correspondent said that there was a significant deployment of IOF in the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in preparation for these incursions.

The forces also implemented restrictions on the entry of worshippers, specifically preventing those under the age of 40 from entering the mosque to perform the dawn prayer on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh strongly denounced the annual Flag March scheduled to take place Thursday, describing it as a desperate and provocative attempt to assert false claims in the holy city of Jerusalem.

In a statement issued Wednesday night, Shtayyeh emphasized that the march, which aims to legitimize the occupation, holds no significance.

He criticized the Israeli Occupation's futile policies and repressive actions, asserting that they cannot alter the essence of the holy city, with its steadfast Jerusalemites, its Islamic and Christian sanctities, and its monuments that reject the presence of occupying forces.
