A Royal Decree was issued Sunday approving the decision of the Council of Ministers, which includes the suspension of Defense Law No. (13) of 1992 in all parts of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as of May 7, 2023.

The Defense Law was enacted on March 17, 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.
