Friday night, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) tightened restrictions at the checkpoints around Nablus, according to different local sources.

They said the IOF tightened their restrictions at the Huwara checkpoint in the south, Beit Furik checkpoint in the east, Sabastiya checkpoint in the west and the Asira ash-Shamaliya checkpoint in the north.

Palestinians were forced to endure delays and long queues, as the IOF checked their identity cards.

Notably, the Israeli Occupation continuously restricts Palestinians’ movement through approximately 100 fixed checkpoints among others, settler-only roads in addition to other obstructions.
