Wednesday, a plane will be sent from Jordan to the city of Latakia in Syria, as part of emergency aid provided by the Kingdom to Syria and Turkey following the devastating earthquake, which left thousands dead and injured, according to an informed government source
Tuesday, a military plane left for southern Turkey carrying 99 rescuers and five doctors, in addition to relief supplies.
Notably, His Majesty King Abdullah II made a phone call to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad Tuesday, in which he expressed Jordan's solidarity and support with the Syrian people during this difficult time.
