Israeli Occupation Minister of Finance, Bezalel Smotrich, ordered the seizure of 139 million shekels (USD 39 million) of Palestinian Authority funds, according to Hebrew Media Sunday.

The order came from the Israeli Occupation security cabinet as part of the sanctions that were decided to be imposed on the PA on Thursday.

Last week, the UN General Assembly asked the International Court of Justice to give an opinion on the legal consequences of Tel Aviv’s 55-year-old occupation of Palestinian territories. This came following an appeal by the Palestinians.
