Monday, the Syrian security services seized a shipment of the narcotic Captagon pills, as it was on its way to the Jordanian border, according to Sputnik news agency quoting a security source in the Daraa governorate.

The source added that the shipment was hidden inside a vehicle which was stopped and searched at a security checkpoint in the governorate's countryside.

The suspects were arrested and are currently under investigation, the source said.
