Social media users circulated news indicating the death of the Jordanian YouTuber, Ahmad Al-Khalili.

The YouTuber’s official Instagram account had posted earlier a photo of Al-Khalili with a caption saying that he passed away.

“With great sadness and sorrow, we mourn the death of the beloved Ahmad Al-Khalili, who passed away a short while ago in Egypt,” the post read.

However, until now, no official statement has been issued confirming his death.

The Foreign Ministry's Operations Center received calls from relatives and acquaintances of Al-Khalili, stating that there was news circulating on social media that he had died in Egypt.

The ministry is following up on this news through the Jordanian embassy in Cairo to find out the details.
