Jordanian Sergeant Odai Mohammed Kharabsheh was martyred Wednesday while on duty during a rescue operation to pull out two people who fell into a deep hole inside a house in the capital, Amman, the Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced. The hole is over 30-meter deep.

Rescue teams managed to get the two people out, who were found to have died.

The Public Security Directorate mourned the death of the martyr.
