Saturday, Colombian singer Shakira confirmed that she and her partner Barcelona player Gerard Pique have split up.

The singer’s communication agency released a brief statement that said, “We regret to confirm that we are parting ways. For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy. Thank you for your understanding.”

This came after reports were made several days ago claiming Pique was allegedly caught cheating with another woman.

Notably, the pair have been together since 2010 and have two sons together, Milan and Sasha.
