Wednesday, the Palestinian presidency condemned the assasination of journalist Shireen Abu Aqleh by Israeli Occupation forces.

The presidency held the Israeli Occupation government fully responsible for this heinous crime, stressing that it is "part of the daily tactic by the occupation against our people, their land and their holy sites."

They stressed that killing journalist Abu Aqila, and wounding journalist Ali al-Samudi, is part of the Israeli Occupation's efforts to obscure the truth and commit crimes against Palestinians silently.

Additionally, the presidency offered its deepest condolences and sympathy to the family of the martyr Abu Aqleh and her colleagues, asking God to bless her soul.

Lastly, the presidency praised Palestinian journalists and all their efforts to continue to carry out their national and humanitarian duty towards the just Palestinian cause despite such attacks.
