Sunday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of a Palestinian woman who was shot by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem.

Roya's correspondent reported that the woman, 47, arrived at Beit Jala Hospital to receive treatment after the IOF shot her in the leg. The woman great large amounts of blood.

The head of the Husan Village Council Mohammed Sabateen confirmed that the IOF opened fire at the woman in the Muteena area at the eastern entrance to the village.

The woman was a widow and a mother to six children.

According to eyewitnesses, the IOF shot the woman while she was walking on the street.
