The spokesperson for the Ministry of Education Ahmed Al-Masaafa confirmed Monday that the epidemiological situation in schools is “stable.”

In a statement to Roya, Masaafa said that the COVID-19 infection rate among school students is one per thousand.

He attributed the stability of the epidemiological situation in schools to the low rate of coronavirus infections in Jordan, and the commitment of teachers and students to health protocols.

Regarding the number of school students who have been vaccinated against the coronavirus, Masaafeh said that around 215,000 students received the first dose of the vaccine, while 165,000 received the second dose.

As for the third dose, a total of 450 school students received it.
