Jordan recorded 24 deaths and 22,113 new coronavirus cases Monday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,490,473

The death toll has risen to 13,532.

The cases are:

-8,958 in Amman

-2,857 in Irbid

-2,703 in Zarqa

-1,577 in Balqa

-1,171 in Madaba

-1,079 in Karak

-931 in Mafraq

-560 in Ajloun

-638 in Jerash

-484 in Tafilah

-376 in Aqaba

-348 in Ramtha

-171 in Ma'an

-170 in Petra

A total 238 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 241 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 1,245 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 188,254 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 79,378 PCR tests were conducted.

Monday, 27.86 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 26.92 percent Sunday.
