The head of the Private Schools Syndicate Munther Al-Sourani confirmed the continuity of in-person education in private schools during the second semester.

Sourani told Roya Monday that returning to online education is not an option, despite the increase in the number of coronavirus cases in Jordan.

He stressed that the Ministry of Education will take the necessary measures against schools that violate any decision issued by the ministry.

Earlier, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Education Ahmed Al-Masaafa told Roya that vaccination campaigns in schools are continuing.

He stressed that students will return to schools on Feb. 20, 2022.
