Two people died in a fire that broke out at dawn in the Khattabiya area in Madaba, according to the spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD.

The two died and two others suffered from shortness of breath after inhaling gases and fumes from the fire.

In turn, the firefighting teams worked to put out the fire and control it, while the ambulance teams provided the necessary first aid to the injured, and they were later hospitalized.

An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire.
