Jordan records 35 deaths and 22,720 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 35 deaths and 22,720 new coronavirus cases Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,374,453.

The death toll has risen to 13,382.

The cases are:

-9,580 in Amman

-2,997 in Irbid

-2,507 in Zarqa

-2,017 in Balqa

-1,184 in Mafraq

-1,156 in Karak

-853 in Jerash

-753 in Ajloun

-513 in Aqaba

-485 in Madaba

-293 in Tafilah

-274 in Ma'an

-60 in Petra

-48 in Ramtha

A total 227 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 229 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 1,172 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 162,653 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 75,469 PCR tests were conducted.

Tuesday, 30.11 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 30.33 percent Monday.
