Jordan recorded 18 deaths and 17,781 new coronavirus cases Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,243,090.

The toll has risen to 13,235.

The cases are:

-8,155 in Amman

-2,687 in Irbid

-1,989 in Zarqa

-1,368 in Balqa

-729 in Karak

-554 in Mafraq

-492 in Aqaba

-470 in Madaba

-417 in Jerash

-382 in Ajloun

-240 in Ma'an

-237 in Tafilah

-32 in Petra

-29 in Ramtha

A total 249 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 152 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 975 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 95,314 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 61,930 PCR tests were conducted.

Tuesday, 28.71 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 28.77 percent Monday.
