Thursday, the spokesperson for the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Kamal Al-Shakhra, announced that the first three cases of Omicron were recorded in Palestine.

The new cases were recorded in Ramallah, Hebron and Tubas.

Shakhra added, in a statement that Roya received a copy of it, that the three cases involved people who arrived from abroad.

He called on citizens to adhere to the required health measures and receive the coronavirus vaccine.

Earlier Thursday, the Palestinian Minister of Health Mai Al-Kaila announced the registration of one death and 349 new infections with the coronavirus in the past 24 hours.
